Selling Standards

Age

Newborn to 14 years & Maternity

We accept children's clothes, shoes, accessories, nursery items, toys and maternity wear.

Brand

Check our accepted brands listhere.

Brands we don’t accept include: Zara, H&M, Gap, Marks & Spencers, Carters, Next, Bonds, Oshkosh or similar brands

Condition

Clean and great condition items with minimal signs of wear.

Free of stains, tears, fading, pilling or odour.

No used undergarments, tights, socks, and items without original brand or care labels.

How it works

COMMISSION - UP TO 88% OF THE FINAL RESALE PRICE

You will receive an email whenever an item of yours sell. Your earnings are calculated based on the final resale price of your item and its associated commission rate from the chart here.

Once your item sells and passes the 14-day waiting period without a customer return, you will be able to instantly redeem your earnings for store credit (Tyke Points) or make a request for cash earnings to your local bank or PayPal account.

UNNACCEPTED ITEMS

After we process your items, we will send you a "Your Little Shop is Ready" email. The number of unaccepted items will be detailed in the email. We do not keep a detailed record of the descriptions of unaccepted items. If you would like your unaccepted items to be returned to you from a specific booking, please click 'Return Insurance' for the unaccepted item method when you make your booking. The processing fee for 'Return Insurance' is HK$50 which will be deducted from your future earnings. If all are accepted, there will be no deduction.

If you accept to donate all unaccepted items to charity, thank you on behalf of the children who will benefit via our charity partners.

Please note that if 50% or more of your items from a pick up or drop off consists of unaccepted brands and/or does not meet our condition guidelines, there will be a deduction of HK$80 from your owing earnings (effective February 23 2024).

If you do not choose an unaccepted item method at the time of booking or drop off, the unaccepted item method will be default to donate to charity. The unaccepted items are final and cannot be turned into listings but we welcome your feedback at any time hello@retykle.com.

UNSOLD ITEMS

If any items remain unsold after 11 months of listing, the seller will have 1 month to reclaim it with a reclamation fee of HK$10 per item, deducted from future earnings (effective February 23 2024). The return shipping fee will be determined by the local courier and will be paid by the seller upon arrival.

Any delisted items will require shipping rather than pick up.

For the return of any items unsold before 11 months of listing, we will charge a delisting fee of HK$50 per item. The return shipping fee will be determined by the local courier and will be paid by the seller upon arrival.

If the seller does not reclaim an accepted item before it expires (365 days of listing), the item becomes property of Retykle and will be ineligible for commission.

At any later date, the items will no longer be retrievable by request (reclaiming/unsold T&C effective March 1 2023).

SELLING LARGE NURSERY ITEMS

Have you passed the buggy stage? For larger items you’re wanting to sell, like strollers or cribs, you can first send us a few photos and detail the condition in this form here. After agreeing on the resale price, you will receive commission based on the chart here.

SELLING TOYS

We're looking for branded wooden toys, Lego, kitchen/tea party sets in excellent condition and brand new board games/puzzles. Send us some photos via WhatsApp/email to hello@retykle.com to confirm if they can be accepted before dropping them off at our Wong Chuk Hang studio to sell. You will receive commission based on the chart here.

WHAT IS RETYKLE SELL LATER?

Retykle Sell Later is a brand new way to sell your purchases from either Retykle, and our partner stores in a hassle-free manner. By opting in, your items will simply be added to your Retykle Virtual Closet, and when your tykes outgrow your items, you can add them with the click of a button and benefit from faster processing times and additional earnings (HK$5 per item successfully sold, effective March 12 2024). WHAT CAN I SELL WITH RETYKLE SELL LATER?

All your eligible purchases on Retykle are automatically added to your Virtual Closet. You can also select to “Opt In” on our partner stores, where eligible products from your purchases on those stores can also be added to your Virtual Closet.
